Albany Elks

On November 3, 1951, the Elks Aidmore Auxiliary was formed. Bylaws were approved at this meeting and stated the Elks Aidmore Auxiliary is to organize all Georgia Elks Lodge Ladies clubs for the general support of the crippled children program of Georgia Elks, through Elks Aidmore Hospital and related services. The first annual meeting of the Elks Aidmore Auxiliary was held in Brunswick, Georgia on May 15, 1952.

At the 1974-75 State meeting the Auxiliary was granted representation on the Board of Trustees of Elks Aidmore, Inc.

Today it is the purpose of most Auxiliaries to assist the members of their Elks Lodge in any charitable or civic work in which they may be engaged and to take a responsible part in any activities of the Lodge when they are called upon. Activities are in constant motion helping Elks Aidmore Children's Center.

Spouses and "significant other” of members in good standing are invited to join our Albany Auxiliary for fellowship and fun. The Albany Elks Auxiliary meets on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of each month at 8:00 P.M
